I’m a twenty-five year old freelance writer, musician, and photographer who has traveled to 21 countries. I’m a native of Wilmington, NC, but have lived in three other countries: Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. I passionately explore the world, while expressing myself with music, writing, and photography. Since November 2009, I have been an intern at the largest online travel magazine MatadorNetwork.

I love New York City.
I would go back to Tallinn, Estonia or Dubrovnik, Croatia in a heartbeat.
Grits and strawberry jam are my favorite foods.
My favorite small towns are Montreux, Switzerland, Bled, Slovenia, and Blacksburg, Virginia.
I love exotic food and will try any cuisine. I’m also a vegan.
I wish the US had siestas.
I’m a travel dork.
If I was granted three wishes I would choose (1) to speak every language in the world, (2) a fly-whenever/wherever-you-want-no-expiration-travelpass, and (3) to be best friends with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
I’m a total Beatles freak.
I love Nina Simone. She is a musical goddess.
I once went to an ice bar in Finland. I got to wear a sweet silver parka.
