Merry Christmas y’all. Mr. Gnome and I are in El Calafate, Argentina loving the peacefulness and natural gifts of Patagonia. Today, we enjoyed checking out flamingos on our walk this morning around Lago Argentino, reading in bed, talking with family over Skype (Mr. Gnome and Nana had an impromptu video dance-off), and horseback riding in the countryside. We exchanged kisses for Christmas, all that we needed with all these blessings around.
To share some holiday cheer, I’ve posted a rare X-mas song by the Beatles called “Christmas Time (Is Here Again)”, thanks to thisĀ Artsbeat blog from the NYT. It was originally released only to members of the Beatles’ fan club in 1967. I especially like Lennon’s cheeky bit at the end.
Hadn’t heard this before. Will go well with my other two favorite Christmas songs by Lennon and the other by Paul McCartney.
I agree with Anil – this is going to be filed away – I had never heard it! Happy holidays and thanks for posting
@Anil-I hadn’t heard it before either. It’s my new favorite Christmas song aside from Lennon’s. (I also love McCartney’s too!) Glad you enjoyed it.
@Shannon-thanks for stopping by
Glad you enjoyed the song-it’s a new favorite for me. Happy holidays too!
Merry Christmas from freezing Canada! Glad you’re having a blast.
That sounds like such a wonderful Christmas. Who really needs lots of expensive gifts when you can have wonderful travel and meaningful kisses? Glad to hear you’re having a great time!
Is there any chance you could translate the end bit? We couldn’t get it.
@Candice-Merry Christmas to you too! Hope you had a wonderful one. Is eggnog big up there?
@Emily-Absolutely! One of the best. Happy holidays to you. Did you have a happy x-mas?
